Tara graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornerstone University with her Bachelors of Science in Business Management and has a true passion for leadership. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 12 years in both physical and behavioral health. Tara is also an active crisis response volunteer. She currently leads and serves as a coordinator for the Network180 Community Crisis Response Team as well as serves on the Mid-West Michigan CISM Team which she also formally led for a two year term. She holds 9 certificates through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) including Group & Individual Crisis Intervention, Strategic Response to Crisis, Law Enforcement Perspectives for CISM Enhancement, and Stress Management for the Trauma Service Provider. Tara is also certified in Incident Command Systems (ICS) 100 & 700 through FEMA which gives her access to disaster sites as a crisis responder. Tara is also a former high school boys basketball coach.
In her free time, Tara enjoys traveling, boating, cycling, and cooking. An avid foodie, she also enjoys helping cater special events with her local chef friends. Tara has two husky pups that also keep her quite busy.
