Dr. Josh Hanenburg joined the staff at Good Life Physical Therapy in February 2017. He is a Grand Rapids native and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from GVSU in 2005. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2009.

Dr. Hanenburg has a passion for movement and has enjoyed working with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. He has advanced training in foot and ankle mechanics including video analysis for runners. He has completed education on the McKenzie method for evaluation and treatment of the spine, ASTYM® soft tissue treatment and Titleist Performance Institute golf assessment.

He enjoys being out on the road or trails, running and biking, golfing, or in the gym. He is an avid runner and triathlete. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Sports Physical Therapy Section, and Michigan Physical Therapy Association.
