Matt is a Grand Rapids area native who obtained his Physical Therapist Assistant Degree in 2017 from Baker College of Muskegon.

Matt grew up as a multi-sport athlete. He still enjoys staying active through weight-lifting, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and participating in adult slow-pitch softball and water sports. Matt’s passion for sports and athletic performance inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy and personal training, where he has gained experience in Sportsmetrics and return-to-sport driven programs.

Matt has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and health conditions, and he takes pride in his ability to create personalized interventions to improve their quality of life. He is a certified manual therapist and has certificates in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) and Tool Assisted Soft Tissue. In addition, he has experience with a range of other techniques, including the McKenzie Method, Active Release Technique (ART), amputee rehabilitation, and functional strengthening.

When Matt is not rehabilitating or training others, playing sports or doing other physical activities, he enjoys relaxing by a fire, laying on a beach or boat, traveling, concerts or attending sporting events.
